You should be fine, but at full stuff you might rub a little bit on your front mudflaps, if you have them.

Bit late seeing this/ responding, I am running the Toyo MT's in this size on stock OR wheels. Absolutely love them. There is a picture in my media. Haven't uploaded too many.

So, I ended up with a very slight bit of rubbing on the front of the fenders only at full lock in reverse, and lock and flex while going forward.

So I was going to use the heat gun to re-mold the front fenderwall, then saw that there is a retainer bold to hold the inside wall in place. Slightly behind it there is another empty hole.

I removed the retaining bolt, headed the plastic of the fenderwall and pushed it back in and replaced the bold in the empty hole. After that, trim up the plastic of the fender where the retainer bolt was.

Sorry, I didn't take any pics before, but you can see in these where I put the bolt after, and what I cut.

Well finally took the leep and put on 255/85r16 but not on stock OR wheels. Got a good deal with @Discount Tire Direct on a wheel and tire combo and went with it. So I thought Id post it here since you guys were my inspiration to get pizza cutter set up anyways. Lots of good info here. Thank you guys.20180904_131518.jpg 20180904_131455.jpg

    These are 16x8 -10 offset level8 mk6 with 255/85r16 cooper st maxx.
Rubbing is very minimal. Not sure where its rubbing yet, just got it home. Sounds like plastic so Im guessing its the bottom of the fender. It only rubs when backing out and turning the wheel to the right at like 15degree turn of the wheel and then it stops. Going forward rubs both left and right when moving very slowly and again at about 15degree turn of the tires. With a front 1inch lift would solve all the problems or doing some cutting of the plastics. Will keep you guys updated what I decide and if it works out.

And crap, forgot the price. Total was 1600$ but with the discount came out to 1300$ with TPMS, mounting and balance, new lug nuts.

You can't change the offset or back spacing without getting different wheels or wheel spacers. The tire goes onto the wheel. Case closed.

Everyone is missing the main point. They perform better than 285’s in almost every situation. Period.

Skinnier patch of rubber means more pressure on the patch touching the ground which means better digging and steering capability on snow, stone, concrete, etc. the best part is they get better mpg and usually weigh less. People buy 285’s for looks and using more gas. They look awesome on tacos, but sacrifice the health (power) of the truck because guys usually buy MTs and they weigh a friggn ton

Paint those stock ones black with matte oil based paint. Will never come off. Can’t beat an OEM rim for balance
