Spotted lanternflies came into the US with a shipment of stone from Asia. The stone quarry they arrived at is just one hill over from where we live. Our friends just across the valley from the quarry were swarmed 2 years ago; we were swarmed last year. This year I've only seen a couple around my property, but I see them in large numbers in other places.

They jump when you try to stomp them -- but they can't jump twice.

    Oh boy, here we go.
The 1st Lackawanna Heritage Fair is scheduled for this coming spring.
While this is going on the Rail Riders have 5 home games.
Now I see Penndot has a paving and bridge work plan on I81 to take place at the same time from the Luzerne county line to the Scranton expressway....both North and South.
    This s/b fun!!!

I have been trying to keep an eye out as they are extremely invasive. I haven't come across any, but with populations like the picture it isn't going to take long. God forbid the state take a preventative measure and kill them now. Nope wait until it is too far out of control and try a reactive measure that will fail because it was too late.

I am also extremely concerned with the ticks and Lyme in my area. It is really bad here, but to my knowledge they have done nothing to eradicate that as well. You should see the deer in the area, literally 100's of ticks on most.

Got all the lights wired in this weekend. I think I could actually drive this thing backwards down the road and no one would noticeIMG_1075.jpgIMG_1078.jpg IMG_1079.jpg

I originally downloaded it for the Bald Eagle State forest, because of the maps, and specifically 4x4. Since it uses topo maps, you can use it anywhere, not just spots that are mapped. I also sometimes use Maplets.

I just moved out to plum this past weekend & drive over it on my to & from work every day. When I go Dow ty o md where I'm originally from I take 30 instead to 70. More scenic too!

this has really become an expensive membership. But I'm starting to build the truck I've always wanted. Only took 6 Toyota pickups to finally plunge.

Special thanks to @Urineovrurhead for the sweet hookup on skids and help with install/removal of sway bar.
