It sounded weird typing that out by the way...

 

Its the same bracket as the 2nd gens, 4 10mm bolts and it pulls right out about a foot. Dooo iiiit!

There's no cutting behind the head unit, it's all plug and play.. I dont remember which one the rear was in since i got the front and rear and it used both harnesses; but the only splicing you need to do is where you will hook up your switches to steal power/ground/illumination from whichever source
