Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Yes, I grew up outside of Sactown during my formative years watching the Joe & Jerry show. Now I live in PA and abhor all PA professional sports teams.

Don’t know if it was same game but saw something similar on sports highlights and I couldn‘t believe it. Might as well bubble wrap the QB.

Refs are always flag happy in the pre-season. Then go and review them and determine what should and shouldn’t be called in the regular season. The pre-season has always been a penalty fest.

The NFL has become as boring to watch as MLB. Then they seem to change the rules every season and that confuses me.

One thing I’ll never do is give up on MLB. Baseball is and will always be my favorite sport.

No room in my life for hate.

Nothing wrong with Kaep at all. He's a servicable backup QB, but he's a terrible starter. I would have signed up for a backup QB on my team but we got someone capable in Chad Henne, it looks like.

Guess we'll put you in for Schweitzer Award.

But you're wrong about Kaep. I wish you weren't. I'm a 9er fan since 1978, so I wanted him to be the best. Someone to carry on the tradition of Montana and Young. But it wasn't in his character. He didn't put football first. He didn't put in the time to learn the position. He had some raw talent, no error. I think he got caught up in some of his limited success and the magazine covers, and the adulation, and it went to his head. Surrounded himself with the wrong people, and off he went, poisoned by a woman who put ideas in his head, when he should have been studying. Many football prognosticators predicted he'd be a flash in the pan once defenses figured out how to prevent him from running. Local caster Greg Papa was one. There were many others. Even guys here, but as a huge fan, I did not want to believe it. But they were right.
Ego, and misinformation, are his stock in trade now. And he has spawned even more ridiculous behavior. Some jackwagon sang the National Anthem while kneeling, recently, at a football game. Disgusting. But, just my opinion.

Wasn't trying to start a riot with Kap posts again. I just thought it was pretty bizarre that he got a big buck deal with Nike. Nike's taking a gamble, but is hardly going to go out of business over it. Knee jerk reactions will either have people burning their Nike gear, or just wearing it out. I'd wear it anyway. I wouldn't let this have me toss out good clothes or shoes.

They had an offer. He needed a job, because he won't be playing in the NFL. Haven't heard about his lawsuit, lately.

Well stated. Pretty much the Kap saga in a nutshell.

If somebody burns their Nike jersey over this I'm glad mostly because those dumbfucks don't realize Nike has the uniform contract for the next 10 years at least. Id laugh.

He’s had a deal with them for a long while. They just hadn’t used him in any advertisements until just recently

They'll probably take their division with the ageless pocket passer.

They are going to allow his lawsuit to continue on, he won the preliminary case.

Football players kneel when a player goes down, that signifies respect. Since the suggestion for kneel down was from a Green beret, I see the respect and the protest both. Hopefully our fellow Americans see the same instead of what they want to see.

1 more day till football, your all teams suck except for KC! Trash talk commencing again.

    Good luck though ;)

I think the Raiders will succumb to dissoluteness and debauchery of all kinds when they move to Vegas.

So is Nick Foles gonna be super bowl MVP Nick Foles or is he gonna regress back to backup QB levels of play to start the season?

One guy makes a suggestion. So what. He doesn't represent all uniformed personnel. I find the practice disgusting. The guys kneeling for an injured player are praying to their god. HUGE difference. Of course, that didn't stop people from ripping Tebow limb from limb.

Interesting note: I roomed with Nate for a month when we were both at Camp Integrity, in Kabal, in 2013. Nice guy. I just think he was wrong.
