So during the last rotation and catching a glimpse of maybe actually possibly being able to get sort of off road in the future and maybe even with the mid travel on...I started to get semi-serious about how the F am I going to jack this thing on a dicey surface in the middle of nowhere if I get a flat.

Enter announcement of a Safe Jack 10% off Labor Day sale and recollection of @DVexile discourses and mods utilizing some of there stuff. We chatted a bit and in the end I settled on these:

    https://safejacks.com/collections/bottle-jack-accessories/products/3-piece-starter-kit

    https://safejacks.com/products/6-bottle-jack-extension

In combination with the 4 runner screw jack (09111-35150) that actually fits them. Found one on Ebay, jack only for $35 (not the whole bag, handles, lug wrench and stuff, which are typically $100+).

I think I am going to mess around with some thick aluminum angle iron for a super simple stability mod once I get the goods in hand.

Thanks for posting this info Scott :hattip: Definitely some good jack accessories to have on board.

I ordered the 3” Jack Extension along with the 3” Universal Lift Pad. The Extension is on a two week back Order. Used the Discount code DELTA10.

    DELTA10? I used Labor2018....o_O

@DVexile gets all credit for the technical homework, as usual. His adventures and remote base of ops are a serious motivator for focusing on solutions, I'm sure. I'm just a leech trying to get back up to speed. We had a good conversation. The other thing that got me going is the trailer. First, last year, I realized I better double check the lug size to make sure I had a socket/wrench for them since I set up my truck kit with the splined lugs and a Gorilla wrench compact/extending wrench (which I love). The I started looking at how I would jack the trailer, because frankly that thing is more likely to get a flat than the truck these days.

I think Hi Lifts are best suited to the FJ guys with sparkling rigs that take their entire rainbow instagram hardware store to the office park M-F 8-5.

Kudos to @DVexile for the Technical research.
I think we’re all guilty of being a leech at times for gathering important information about what’s good for our truck builds and added equipment. I’ve learned a ton on this Thread. Thanks again.

So the 4runner jack arrived. Appears to have never been used at all ever, zero scratches or abrasions on the base or top of piston. The only vague mark appears to be from the stowage bracket in the vehicle. Operates perfectly on my desk using fingers only.

Although advertised as 09111-35150, it is a 09111-60075, which is apparently a direct equivalent. The OEM label on the jack says Land Cruiser, Prado, Surf and 4Runner

This note was provided in another seller's ad for the same product:

Toyota uses a few different part numbers for the jacks out of the 1996-2002 4runners.
    Part numbers include 09111-35150, 09111-35151, 09111-35451, 09111-60075.

Excellent score. I also found one (part#09111-35150) on ebay that shipped yesterday. I changed my order with safe jack and went with the 6” Extension. I also just ordered a New 10” Husky tool bag off eBay to keep a pair of gloves and the jack accessories in. Thanks again for posting this info.

My pleasure. I'm going to wait on a bag until I get all the bits and pieces together on the floor and attempt whatever mod I am going to attempt on the jack base.

Mine says Land Cruiser. So I have a Land Cruiser now.

    Motherfuckers.
