2nd post on TW and the proud owner of a 2018 DCSB TRD OR!
I got her home and took the mud flaps and horrendous license plate mount off immediately. Now the "I need/want" list is growing and my wife is undoubtedly regretting her initial support of my decision on the truck

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I haven't seen that spot used before, so I am awarding 1 point for originality.

(If it's been done, I want my point back.)

Plasti dipped the middle of my hood to kill the glare. I plan on a wrap, but wanted a cheap proof of concept. Dip went on like garbage, but I dig the look.

I plan on using this location as well. I got the idea from @brendanwebster911 two years ago when I first purchased my truck but just haven’t gotten around to doing this mod yet. It is on my list tho :) Nice Job!

 Sorry......couldn't understand the issue. I live in the heat belt and have never had the issue.....then again, though, I have ceramic tint on the windshield........and generally have my polarized sunglasses on during daytime driving. Green glass lenses from Costa are like air condition for your eyes.

Living in New Mexico we get amazing sunsets that come with awful glare on the hood. Two suns is too much for any of my sunglasses. I also like the look of my new subdued racing stripe.

For those about to do the diff rebreather relocation mod, I highly suggest putting it behind the driver side tail light. It's hidden and no risk of hitting it when filling up. I'd even say it's easier to reach them installing since you can stick your whole head in the fender...lol.

I got everything on Amazon, and yes you can buy everything as a kit except for the Teflon tape. Sorry I don't have a link at the moment. I decided that particular location, for some reason I like to see it every time I fuel up. Just use the location on my pic and you will not bump into it when fueling up.

Did nothing but just realized that when i start the truck, the picture showed on the dash board screen isn’t my truck( SR5 grille instead of chrome, mine is TRD Sport). Wonder if all the trims are the same?

Yeah, I paid 80 bucks and got a OEM black surround that will last forever. Pretty easy mod, probably quicker than prepping and spraying correctly.
