Hey Guys, this looks new for 2019 on the builder. Has anyone tried them out? They kind of look identical to the Nox Lux overlays

I’m gonna research it. 40, maybe 50 bucks is all it’s worth to me I guess.

I wanted the tailgate inserts and Tacoma overlays. The rest were parts for an SR5.

I sprayed mine with Plasti-dip to see how mine would look and like it too, may go with those overlays too.

I bought the whole kit just for the Tacoma overlays and V6 Overlay. I sold the tailgate inserts and a couple of other pieces. I think the tailgate inserts looked better than my Tufskinz and kind of wished I had kept them as a spare set.

I like them and was actually surprised at how good they looked and how well they covered and stuck.

That's good to hear they are of good quality, really like how my truck looks minus the chrome!

Just those simple overlays made an instant and huge difference to me. Now if I can just figure out these wheels....ugh.....

Agreed. There is virtually no way to screw up the install. My set was like $135 but I sold the tailgate letters ($37) and a couple other pieces.

I ended up taking the V6 emblem off. I love the look. I have the 4x4 and TRD emblem but it looks clean with just the inserts.

The less chrome the better! Everybody has different styles...my old man doesn’t want the overlays I have left over, he likes the chrome on his SR5.

Oh, definitely. What you have looks great! I am kind of weird about keeping things as close to stock looking as possible while still modding enough to make the truck mine. Like Pro wheels, Pro grille, OEM bed mats, and so on. I’m still flirting with Ray 10s once I figure out what to do with my Pro wheels. Yes, some of the more seasoned gentlemen like that chrome still. Heck I’m middle aged but not into the chrome at all. It’s ok if done tastefully on some things but it just doesn’t belong on our trucks.

The black wheels really look good with the blacked out trim

Definitely! I also like the look of the debadged trucks as well but that’s a bit outside of my bubble. I am getting aggravated with the decals on the truck because it seems like dirt gets up in them, just like the paint protection film. I may see if the detailing thread has any advice for getting that cleaned.

Good to hear many on here like the quality of the OEM Toyota Emblem overlays. The truck I ordered and is currently being delivered from another dealership already has the OEM Toyota Black emblems and tailgate inserts installed. I think I will like the look in person but if I don't, how hard would it be to remove these emblem overlays and tailgate inserts?

The overlays can be put on without pulling the tape, so you can get a good look beforehand. The inserts shouldn't be that hard to remove, but there are a ton of pics on here, for reference.
