Define best? If its defined as "cheapest price" then probably one of the common dealers everyone uses. If its defined as "tuned most accurately to my truck and how I use it" then you MUST buy from a tuning company. Accutune or DSMS are my choices. Accutune will get my money for my new rear setup. I'm currently rebuilding/ tuning my rear shocks myself though and would venture to say a tune from me would be better then a factory tune.

Just buy some cheap ome or bilsteins. Gid loves how my Truck rides.

Use the savings to buy an industrial size bottle of Dramamine and some ear plugs so you don’t have to hear him whine. :p

Will replace them with more cheapos when these clap out.

Not sure how long I'll stick around for wheeling but I'll at least run in the morning

    I hate your truck ....

Seriously though, good suspension is in the top 3 of difference makers when it comes to any kind of wheelin but for some reason no one gives a fuck about it. "It looks cool and has 1 million feet of droop. That's all that matters bro!" You ignorant fuck! :annoyed:

Last year, I revalved my front coilovers from something that was previously setup for a "tacoma". Now it's far from perfect but what resulted was a mid travel setup that is smoother in certain areas then Levi's long travel front end "tuned" by Dirt King. I'm not claiming to be better at tuning than them but the advantage I had was driving my truck and adjusting the valving for what I thought was wrong and being able to repeat that process to make it better. So if I (having a mildly competent understanding of shock tuning) can in person tune my mid travel shocks to perform better then a "pretty close" tune from a not in person competent tuner, imagine how much tuning is left to be done from a general generic "tacoma" tuned shock off a general shock dealers shelf. I'll imagine for you .... IT'S A LOT!

So going back to Zachk asking about who he should buy from, if it's me buying them, I would buy from someone who when i call them, they ask me a series of questions wanting specific weight figures, vehicle specs and vehicle use and proceed to offer me, at no additional cost, specifically tuned shocks for my truck. You think you got good riding suspension straight off the production floor until you tune that suspension, then you realize you just had a spacer lift. Haha

Was just price shopping around. I found some on Amazon pretty cheap. My best friend and his dad build and tune shocks for track cars so if I buy some I may just get the cheapest ones I can and then open them up with him and tune them. They’ve got shock dynos, shit to test spring rates, nitrogen, etc....

if you see this Lucas, sorry bud.

But thanks Gid, I’ll check into Accutune

    Yall are all jerks ....

Yeah that's badass. I always encourage you to do the work yourself and learn something. Us being smarter as a whole only benefits us more. But doing something yourself, especially for the first time with something as important as suspension tuning, without any guidance is pretty dumb. A 15 min conversation with Accutune or DSMS has the potential to make you exponentially smarter going into a baseline for starting your own tuning. Also A LOT of fucking research. Haha just like anything else in life, you start out a dumb ignorant fuck straight out your moms vagina and only grow smarter from there.

Well ..... Everett has his challenges ...
