You can still open loop tune the oem injectors uuntil you run out of maf

Probably not enough injector to help out enough. Might want to try some large primary or add more secondary

We have an 850cc injector in route for 5th replacement. Hopefully that should be enough to bring it into range. Ultimately, a Haltech and large primaries are the goal.

    A thing or two...
Can't tune closed loop without the AFR module as that's what alters the signal to the ECU.

Went with this one. I'm excited it should be way better than my last one. Also upping to a 10lb spring on my Tial so I'll be pushing 10 psi minimum but will try and max out my current fuel system. Might have to get bigger injectors and pump hopefully the FIC6 will handle it. Already running 42lb inj and the Denso supra TT pump making 350ish tq/hp. Hopefully get her up to 20psi and see what numbers we'll get. Should spool quicker too around a 55 to 65ish compressor and impeller with smaller A/R housing. Apparently these BL turbos run the same internals as Garrett and Precision and are balanced on the same type of balancer in house by Boost Lab.Screenshot_20180905-102608_Chrome.jpg

I miss my Taco. And with winter coming I need her.

We shall see! Sucks I'll have to pay for a retune. Wish I could understand the tables and tun it myself.

They aren’t designed to be crazy difficult to do. Just takes some patience. It’s not iPhone easy. Think of it like windows xp. Gotta sit down and get used to it.

Literally it is plug in a laptop and go. But yeah download the software, learn the tables and what your settings are and why. Once you get comfortable with the interface learn to datalog. Look at idle, then slow driving, part throttle. After you get more comfortable can tune you close loop fuel trims and see how the motor responds. Once you get trims in place you can tune the rest of the map where things get fun.

Slow careful steps you can get your tune pretty good.

Rough guess. It's probably going to be around the 10k mark.

    Lmao...

I’m curious how much it’ll be. Considering the exhaust manifolds are built into the block, there shouldn’t be any complicated bends on the hotside “should” keep costs down but that’s just wishful thinking on my part lol. Either way I miss boost.

What sucks is there’s not much info on the transmission other than shift issues which the ovtune software can fix. At least the a750e had options to handle the power.

Good point. Think they over designed the drivetrain?

Hard to say cause there’s not much info on that either. I’ll see what ovtune says.
