Had a great "weekend" camping with some old friends, new friends & some just met friends. We headed to Frenchman's Lake Wednesday morning to beat the weekend crowd there & get some spots before they were gone. We spotted the lake shark shortly after getting there. Good thing he was friendly.
Of course I made some pizzas & they were a big hit. Had a lot of fun & looking forward to the next trip. And yes that's a fake fire, but you can use it during Red Flag conditions.

Went to slickrock yesterday. It was my first time driving the new section they opened on Aug 4th. It adds three new obstacle sections and maybe a mile of track (I don't have an odo in the mule). It's a really great improvement to the trail and I thought all three sections were really fun. We met the crew that mapped it out and did the work, chatted with them for a bit. They were looking for feedback on the new parts and also asked our opinions on cutting two extra lines through the last section. Pretty cool to see new additions to trails when shit is usually getting shutdown, especially in the butterfly state. I'll definitely be going down again soon.

Almost 6 years ago when I got to test drive one at (not on) Sand Mountain I said I wanted one.

Tomorrow night I'm bringing this home. Same build as above, but these colors.
They will install the upgrades they have & I'll bring it back for the rest when they come in.
