    the rear welds are pretty sloppy.. im going to clean that up..

    my collection of toyota parts is insane. lol lots of stuff from work plus all the parts ive collected for the taco

    How are you going to manage to do that at home? I can imagine it's difficult without a lift.

    I am guessing that you bought that with your employee discount? How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking? Can't be cheap.

    i'll grab some tomorrow if i remember. im all ready for bed right now lol long day..

    its not like its a weak weld. just ugly.. lots of slag too.

    $2200, not suppose to be able to buy it because its a recall part... but i pulled some strings. i'll be repairing the damaged frame (poor install from the guy who did the frame the 1st time) so cost doesn't matter much to me. ill be able to save another taco from an untimely grave with the old one.

    on a side note.. its amazing how light our frames really are. but the scary thing is a new sequoia frame weighs about the same me and 1 person moved the frame

    @Sperrunner and I lifted a whole 4x4 frame off a flatbed truck with three people. One person can probably carry it if you rigged it right.

    replacing the frame wont be too hard.. jack the body up, jack the bed up, roll the old frame out. theres not engine or trans in the way

    the original rotted out. the replacement was installed by a hack... broken nuts inside the frame, cracked at the control arm mounts.. few other things. its all fixable. but i managed to get another for a price i can bear. so i decided to go this route
