I've spent the past week with power tools and sanding blocks, and I'm happy to report that I am finally finished with Mod Week!!

Just before mod-week, I installed a set of FJ Crusier SE wheels, which caused me to stand back and think... "It's about time I just do the things that I wanted when I bought this thing." Shortly after, my color-matched grille and IPF lights showed up.

Despite my initial concerns of cutting into the grille, I finally dove in head first and started hacking. Roughly 20hrs later, this is what happened.

    Great, Satoshi... DONE!

Now onto the lights. I'm on work travel right now, and almost completely without tools. I ended up doing a hack-job on a piece of angle aluminum. It gets the job done, but not pretty to look at. Thankfully, it's now painted black and behind the grille, never to be seen again!

Two nights ago I finally got my FJ Fog switch hooked up and into the dash. Nice to have a factory-style switch with an indicator LED for when the lights are actually powered!

Last night, I installed my Daytime Running Light mod. Such a minor change, but I really like the way the DRLs look. Call me silly, but well worth the $50, IMO.

Here she is with all mods installed. I think I'm finally finished for a while! (unless I can find some BHLM lights...) :D

Looks great!! Quick question. Where did you get the small TRD logo for the grill? And about how much did that run you?

Thanks for the link. I was looking at my weathertechs today and I got an idea to stick a TRD logo on it. To make it look OEM. But i need to find one that will work. Like a rubber type stick on. Or just put a hard plastic on it and secure it with some strong glue. You think that one would work?
    Dont mean to :threadjacked:

    Yes, and I love it!

I've had it on for almost a year, and it's held up great.

I don't think I'd recommend putting it on floormats... you'd scratch it all up in no time at all.

Looks great man. I hit my TRD grill logo with a dab of silicone from behind the grill to give it some extra hold. A BHLM on your white truck would look sweet.

    Nice work!

I'll certainly look into it, but it looks more risky than the Satoshi to me. Something about baking my headlights in an oven doesn't sound super appealing.

That, and my wife may just injure me if I use her cooking oven to bake plastic and chemicals...
