Dunno. Anyone looking for budget kit I’ll immediately point them to OME Nitrochargers as they are awesome but I think their remote resi game needs some help. Every warranty claim has been hassle free but it’s his only car so he has to keep a spare set to throw in while he waits for the turn around. Trying to talk him into letting me send him a rebuilt pair of Fox 2.5 factory series and just get his money back on the BPs.

I recall seeing a fox shock like that before.

 

There was a couple folks who did the Mojave Rd with regular Billies and they bent in the middle of the shock like that, but on a BP-51, i have not seen this.

Meh, I’ve done the same thing to a pair of Icons and a Fox coilover. Shit happens

Icons, right after a rebuild going over a speed bump at 3 mph or so on my old Tundra, both sides


Fox, driving down the road at 45mph and all of a sudden my truck was like “you’re pulling over now” and drove it’s self off the road

Someone can quote that into whatever the BP-51 thread is. Let it be known, Fox honors their product, Icon doesnt

 

eh, I'd argue that our cap/skin combo is about the same strength. Ours bolts together but the cap and skin also overlap in that area to provide 2x the material thickness over the one piece design. Having it as two pieces also provides the flexibility to go with a different cap design from other vendors (though I'm partial to our design) if you choose.

 

Still loving my skin and cap combo! Get compliments and questions on it all the time.

 

Three pair in a row being fitted by OME dealer all failing the same way is beyond ooops criteria.

 

It’s purty strong held my heavy ass an 6 beers last night no problem.
