Too many but also not enough mods
Does having a bunch of armor under the truck make it harder to add the fluid film and cover important areas that need it?

Is it a waste of time to add fluid film if I'm going off roading next month??

I would spray it. A few of the guys have full skids, I can still spray on top of it. The spray will work it's way into the crevices. Off roading is only going take off what you scrap up against, however, a thin film will pretty much remain there. The only areas I touch up are my forward facing arms and any other metal that is directly getting hit with road debris.

What is helpful is if you hit the undercarriage well with a pressure washer to knock off any clumps of mud before you get here

Guys with skids please jump in here...all of my metal is still 'wet' from last year. Anyone with skid/off roading experience?

If anything you should want extra FF in the gap between the skids and frame.

FYI - my factory eTune, bluetooth, NO NAV is going on ebay soon. If anyone wants it for the weekend I will pull it ahead of time. $100

The bluetooth integration for hands free calling/ texting is great. Has Sirius radio too (off subscription now), CD player

The off roading will be good to do with a fresh hose down of FF. FF is best once you get a couple good "cakings" on there. :D The dust from the road will create a film that protects the metal. This is what I was told by someone that regularly undercoats vehicles for customers.

I'm smoking some whole muscle venison jerky today. 3 flavors for Sunday:
    - teriyaki and mesquite (both Hi Mountain flavors)
    - my own no-nitrate Brazilian marinade

I'm going to vac seal everything up in a $5 portion and have samples too. Since you cant sell wild game in CT what you are buying is materials to make it happen and labor.

This batch is trimmed rear quarter steaks from last years OH buck. Btw - 9 months in the freezer is nothing when properly prepared. Here's a pic prior to smoking and example of last batch of Brazilian jerky.
