Let’s just do a recap of my day so far. Left to get my custom wheels and tires mounted and balanced for a cooker which went well. At 11:00 am I had files for gravity cookers and stoped by my buddies to get the first quote. Here is where it turned south. Scotty said we can work on this tomorrow, let’s go count cows.
Love this place @Kanyon71 it’s nice when you can pee off the back porch and make the donkeys jealous.


For y’all that have not hung around me this is what I tell my wife which is code for I’m going to the farm and have some beer, even took my taco which I never do.
Iced down two thirty packs and it was on Scotty grabbed a fifth of crown which I love.
So cows counted and missing four but now I’m feeling good and don’t care. We ride around knowing we are in dire straights and have to make the dreaded phone call to the wife’s, my call went great as she loves me and understands I needed it. Now Scotty’s wife is on the way to pick him up
I’m staying at the farm.

Sounds like a good day to me!

 

Mine went too fast and ended up tougher than I wanted. Was still good but not up to par with the usual cooks.

My special grind deer bacon burger with fresh real butter and salt grass 7 steak dust with a splash or two of worchestier over mesquite coals.

No not spicy but shake it up before using salt likes to stay at the top

 

I didn’t grind much last season. I kept whole meat for carne guisada and stuff

 

Got stuff for that also. What’s your recipe and seasonings.

 

I had to stay away from Fiesta brand,gave us migraines. I don’t really have a said recipe on carne guisada just follow some main ingredients and throw in crockpot

 

I thought about searing some venison chunks in bacon grease or butter or both on griddle then into crockpot
