Anybody have any good recommendations for tent camping near Colorado Springs? Anything between free and cheap preferably

Gary Clark Jr. blew my damn mind at Red Rocks last night!

Best show I’ve seen there, by far.

As the closet lib here (I’m guessing), I can’t waste my time figuring out who donates to what. I’m too busy chaining myself to frac sites to stop the drilling.

Was there a couple weeks ago. Challenging to get shots with no people in it, isn't it? They don't have a lot of 'capacity' either. We were like one car away from them being 'full'. But I have to say a lot of people don't deserve to visit. Like the person who literally took a shit in that little alcove up behind the falls (and it was human, not animal, even used the park map for paper). Couldn't believe someone wouldn't walk the hundred yards to the restroom, or how the hell they managed it without being seen since there were always people up there somewhere the entire time we were there.

I don't even know what liberals and conservatives are anymore. Pretty much all political labels are bullshit imho. Personally, I think fracking is risky at best and probably bad, and we're going to pay for it eventually. But I still (in whatever distant or removed capacity) work for O&G companies, so... :anonymous:

Lucky you. Must have been because I think we were there on a Sunday. Thought it was during the week, but backtracking with a calendar I guess it was weekend.

I was drinking a local craft beer (Which was very good, was like 3 20oz cups in) on a boat on the way to the San Juan Islands for a wedding and @Coop68 text me about the deal... Soooo... Yes I have the front, mid and t case now.

I got the one for stock exhaust put them all on and was like "I think the clearance is lower than where the cross members once were now"

Thus, here I am, looking to reroute. Wondering if I can trade that stock plate in for a rerouted.

Ever go back on Old Stage Rd? There is some places off by Eagle Rock trail. It can get packed up there on the weekends, but it’s cool enough now that most don’t stay overnight.

Divide up in the Haymen burn area still has some good places off Cedar Mountain Rd.

Lake George has been mentioned, great suggestion.

    Tarryall has some nice spots.

I'm unfamiliar with the area but will definitely Google a few of those! Thanks trying to stay semi close to Colorodo Springs/ Pikes peak area to see it tomorrow.

Old stage should be a nice drive with fall colors. After camping you could still go west, check out Victor/cripple creek. Then you can take CO 9 south out of Victor (gold belt tour) that drops you out on Highway 50, then take 115 home to the springs.

So I should probably introduce myself. I’m the “new” guy.

Owned plenty of Tacoma’s (99,00,14), but lost my 14’ sport to a tree that jumped out in front of my wife  . So I don’t own one anymore...just like all the other Mods except @jberry813.

I came over from Tundras.com, and surprise, don’t own one of those anymore either. So yes, I’m a loser.

Anyway, still like doing mod days, CMC, drinking, crashing my KTM ( been a pro at that lately) and a good laugh. Hit me up, I’m in the Springs.

    Thank you.

I’ve been a mod on diesel sites, but new to the Toyota sites.
