Cant do this weekend I promised my wife I would stay home the last few weeks before I start AZT. Next weekend is her Bday so that is a no go. After that in Hawaii then I start passage one the weekend after we get back. Considering she is being really supportive of my AZT goal and not pitching a fit about me being gone every weekend for a nearly a year I figured it was a small trade off.

Nice. I'm headed out November 3 to do passages 16-21. I really need to get a bunch of the south passages done, too.

Yeah, probably. I got them back in July after only a few weeks delay from the original quoted timeframe. Glad I ordered when I did.

Sweet. Had some friends go up 21 to the fire road from sunflower. They got beat the hell up. Said it's super overgrown and easy to lose the trail. Heard 16/17 are really cool in terms of scenery. Ill be rolling through there in Dec/Jan 18-21 will depend on the weather. Eastern supes out by Reavis Ranch get cold I don't mind the 30s but will try to time it to avoid snow and 20s pushing through there up to four peaks.

After that I'm kinda dreading the Mazatzals up to Pine

On the Baja talk, I have a 30" S8 an I'm looking to go from amber to white for the wifeys runner.
Would the following pattern be "better" all around for some distance an some close?
    Combo spot combo

    Or just all combo?

Nothing like some Great Lakes Dortmunder and Burning River! Wish they shipped to AZ.
Not a fan of the cloudy/rainy high 60's weather though! Time to get a fire going!! Think I have been in Phoenix too long.
