Mine chirps too on my 04, has on both clutches I've had on this truck...I just live with it now. But ya it sounds like an army of angry crickets coming out of my transmission/clutch unless the clutch is engaged...was a common problem for 1st gens too

That fits great. Did you need to relocate anything to get it to fit?

I don't have ABS which is primarily what's in the way on other first gens. You can move the cruise control down one set of bolt holes if it interferes but I doubt it woukd anyway.

Oh god...that painful moment you drop your truck off at the tire shop and the guy that takes your keys to drive it into the garage barely knows how to drive stick...I could hear my clutch burning from inside the lobby.

I just got 255/85 St Maxx put on a couple weeks ago, but ripped the sidewall on one over the weekend. Only had a 32" spare with me so that's what I've had on the front since then.

Shop I ordered the new one from says it's going to take another week to get here, so I ordered a Cooper Discoverer AT in they meantime since they had it in stock. Gonna run that one until the new St Maxx arrives and then switch the Discoverer to the spare wheel.

Me and my dad have to tell the lot porters at our Toyota dealer to just let us get our trucks. Even the service writers stall them out.

I should try that...I usually try not to be in the area so at least I don't know about it lol. I wouldn't mind them stalling as long as it wasn't continual, but revving it up with the clutch engaged is not good for the clutch at all.

I mean I do it too when wheeling its sorta inevitable in certain circumstances (need a crawl box)...but seeing someone else do it hurts way more

What bugs me, is when they see I have a 5 speed and instinctively slide my seat up ALL the way. I dont know why, I guess they think it makes it easier. I like my knee almost completely stretched out, too much of an angle in my leg makes me pop the clutch more.

Yeah I keep mine back too, I'm average height 5'11" but having the seat too close makes it more difficult to work the clutch. Too far back though does the same thing...I'm picky about my seat position which is why I usually don't let anyone move it, they have to access the back from the other side

Same. Second to last notch, seatback not quite straight up, but not leaned back either. Any further back and it gets tiring to get the clutch in.

I know I'm a little late in the game for this. When I had my Mitsubishi Evo, Garrett was the way to go. I was looking into them before I ended up just selling the car.

Got mine today. I really wanted all black but he didn't have any left, got the red TRD for the GB price so I'm happy. Damn had no idea how nice these are. I'm a machinist (I pretend) so I can really appreciate the quality & design that went into these. At first I thought the price was high but not after receiving it.
