I don't know about "majority" here but they have been the best selling vehicles in the US for, what, 35 years? Including somewhere between 8-900k just last year. So statistically, there should be more F series trucks than other models in pretty much any reasonable category, eh?

Sometimes I like to pull through in the parking spot so my tow hitch is pointed towards the opposite side. Ive found numerous paint scrapes on the tow hitch by people pulling in too close...

best selling means nothing except you can get the vehicles off the lot. notice all the incentives it takes to sell one?

best retained is a whole other story that I like to review.

edit: I've been absent from here not by choice, expect many photos to follow once i get them uploaded :D

Why bother retaining it when all of the incentives mean you can have a new one every 3 years.

    :facepalm:Oy vey.

Best selling means more sold than any other model. That's what it means. That's all it means.

If there are more sold than any other model, that one model would typically be represented out in public more than other models.

One situation seen with all models in public is poor parking. Now stay with me here.

So simply based on the numbers, if one model (F150) is represented in public more than any other model, and all models can be involved in bad parking, it's a logical assumption that the best selling model would be seen in examples of bad parking more than any other model. Capisce?

Sorry, that's about as simple as I can put it.

I understand the logic, wasn't saying it was wrong about the numbers.

Was simply making a statement about "best selling", capisce?

Because I don't want to buy one every three years? Would rather have one or two reliable vehicles and save money for other fun adventures :D

Yeah, and I even switched them out along with the rims and put them on the new truck too. They were only 6 months old and had maybe 7k on them at the time. The lasted another year when I had to replace them due to adding another 35k on them. I did get new wheels about 6 months after getting the new truck though.

It wasn't scared at first since I was still in the tent at the time and thought the guys I was with had collapsed my tent. Once the guys started yelling to me if I was ok and then saying to look at my truck. I opened one of the windows in my tent and looked through it to find what had happened. I was in a state of shock for most of that morning while the guys were using a winch and chainsaw to get my truck out, so we could tow it out to get help and call the insurance to pick it up. That happened on a Saturday morning. I will be honest, I did take a moment to cry about what had happened and realized I was still alive. I was not emotional after that. I thanked my lucky stars that I was still alive. It could have been much worse if I had been on the other side of the air mattress that I was sleeping on that morning. I would have been severally injured or even killed if I had been on the opposite end of that air mattress.
