because the rear shocks are going to be replaced later when the 63 leaf goes in. Plus with all the work that i have to do the the front i just dont feel like doing both right now. Unless so of you want to come out and swap them for me, then i will buy 2.

The front will take me all day probably so i know when that is done im not going to want to mess with both rears also.

What you think a cigarette will ignite a gas pump? Next time you have a gas can with gas, drop a cigarette in it, let me know what happens.

as true as this is... it wouldnt be the internet without other people opinions!

I would be willing to volunteer time to help you swap them out. I cant just let someone replace just one shock when I know they will regret it later for sure.

What rear shocks do you have on their now? Just confused since you said you were getting Fox shocks and just replacing one shock for now, so that is why I said why not replace both if you were getting a good deal on a set of fox?

yeah well it wouldnt be all that much work to do both honestly. i may even do the front and back on different days so its not so much to do at once. The rears are easy AF anyway.
I would beat that guys ass! It was a bit extreme. I mean you shouldnt smoke at the pump, even i dont do that, but if that happened to me that guy would have an extinguisher shoved down his throat. And a concussion.
Nope, need a spark. I thought the same thing for a long time but i was shown the light when a mechanic dropped a cigarette in a gas can to prove his point.

Now this will do it everytime....

shocks turned out to be for a jeep, even though a 4 wheel parts guy in dallas told me they would work for my truck... Called Fox to verify... they said NO!

Just goes to show you should always do your own research! Right now Fox only has resi shocks for my truck/lift. $230 each! Still looking for someone that may have some of the discontinued shocks for my truck.

Question now is, do i spend $160 a shock and do bilstien resi shocks, or do i spend $230 on fox 2.0 non resi shocks?

you need a white/blue spark/flame to ignite gas. static cigarette wont ignite gas but you better bet a a piece flicked off picking up oxygen on the way can get hot enough to ignite

Looks pretty good for that price, needs a little work, but nothing that most of can’t handle.

With the trailer and such, I would say do the resi shocks as that would help prolong the life of your shocks...

    A?

But kinda sounds like you have your mind made up on the Fox.

Also. We are at Children’s Medical Center Dallas for the follow up stuff. Not sure what we are doing afterwards? May do some shopping, but dinner is on the menu...

    Any recommendations?

Thought about The Rustic but no idea what is around here and I honestly hate driving in the city a majority of the time.
