You are so funny. I know this isn't a diesel because my ex always talked about that red one they blew up on top of a building on some car show and it still ran. They don't make them here but I did see a few in the UK on my honeymoon.

Thought this was a Tacoma PMS thing you made up. Sorry. I really thought you were being a jerk on that.

Getting so many emails from this now and hard to back track between these pages while you guys are taking a lot of things out of context.

I already spent over an hour looking for the Ɔ.

Garage is taking a look in about an hour. I will report what they find.

HA ha, I know when to change the oil and how to reset that light by the mileage button when you turn the key.

    is that a movie reference?

So the light didn't flash at all to the shop. I hoped the computer would store the code as it did the last time and we had to replace an exhaust sensor and the inspection place had to clear it. Then we had to drive it a hundred miles before getting a sticker.

So the guy hooked up his computer and said no codes present. Took it for a test drive and came back to say it needs a new belt since it squealed after hitting a puddle in front of the shop. I heard it so I know he wasn't trying to pull a fast one.

I mentioned the misfire Bebop said and he said the light would look like an engine if that happened. He asked if anyone had been working on it. Of course my ex has done things to it but I never knew what he did to it and apparently he isn't able to put things back right either. The brakes didn't work well the first few times because he put a pad in upside down. His buddies will never stop making fun of him on this one and I laugh all the time about it. Funny thing is I did this once when I was younger and you never forget to put the feminine pad in right after that. He still gets pads given to him as a gift and gets so mad over it. Maybe its Karma?

He did something in the dash over the years for a touch screen radio. I never drove this truck before the divorce but its my reward for his cheating ways. The look on his face when the Judge said if you have no money, the truck is hers. So I never paid attention much of the truck over the years. He loved it more than me to go four wheeling with his friends. His lady friends I found out later.

The tree I park under didn't give me good lighting to see the letters above the flashing light.
I wonder what else my ex put in backwards. Hopefully not much and this will be lasting until I can afford a car.

Belt is replaced and after hitting the puddle, no more squeal and the light no longer flashes. This mechanic is such a nice guy and even took a pic of the light and emailed it to me.

We still don't know what light you're talking about. Your owners manual shows all the lights and tells what they mean.

Ex never gave me the manual or even the spare tire. I am lucky to have a off color spare key but there isn't a remote control with it.

You see this Ɔ/V flashing light after going through a puddle and hearing a squeal, you have a bad belt.

I wonder if the vsc had ever been recalibrated after installing bigger tires.

You would know immediately if you had a misfire.

Number one, your truck shakes like it’s about to fall apart. Number two, it’s not driveable over like 20 MPH, and trying to go faster just makes it go slower.

    Not a misfire issue here.

No misfire issue. It was just a bad belt.

vsc ? I don't know what that is for. I doubt my ex did anything correctly so I will ask my new mechanic about it.

Not to be off topic here, but how does cheating result in forfeit of a truck... I’ve always thought divorce laws were bullshit.

As for the truck, post a pic of the light if you can.
