Let's See Your Cats!!!

Our little lady "Dandi" She showed up on our deck in January of 2016 as a tiny kitten looking for some thawed drinking water. We are 99% sure she was born in the woods
We eventually won her heart , and she accepted us. We had her neutered (unfortunately a little late as she was already bred. Vet said she could not have survived birthing and --we saved her!
She is the best mole getter we have ever seen as the first and second years she brought 50+ moles to our door steps -- lately she has slowed down, but sadly she still grab a bird now and then. I love my birds as well. She spends every nite in my garage -- I never worry about mice in there.

I stayed out late and this is what I come in to? made me wonder what the terrible two been up to before I came in did not take long to find out when I heard a crash down stairs in the storage room... they found a spider

 

She marked just like my old boy Albert. He sure was a great cat for sure. I wish the cats I have now were lap cats- I miss that.

 

Cheech is happy to see me after another work trip.

God damn cat molested me this morning lmfao. Woke up to Cheech sitting on my chest licking my lips this morning. Now Ive got a friggen pimple...or as I call it Cheech herpies.

 

That’ll teach you to go on another work trip.

 

Lap cats are the best. I picked her up from a shelter. When I went I looked at a few cats that all wanted to play and explore the room when I sat down. This cat jumped right on me and laid down. Either she was a lap cat or intelligent enough to know that was her only way of escape.

That’s really cool that she did that. My cats that I have now suck at being lap cats. They do surprise me every great once and a while but always under their terms. My old cat Maxine (sister of the pictured tabby) was the absolute perfect cat. Lap cat, playful, personable, you name it; everything you’d want in a cat. She happened to be Siamese so after she passed we adopted another thinking that was just how Siamese are... well not even close. She was a total anomaly for the breed.

Then along came the spider and changed the dynamics of the interaction above. Still all three are cool chicks....

 

This is like the identical story of how the wife and I got our cat. She also stays in the garage, and last 2 weeks shes brought 4 Moles,2 rats, 2 snakes.

I always wonder why string gets them crazy...its not like theres a stringed animal out in the wild. or even a laser dot but they go nuts over it.

man I thought our stray cat was spoiled when we give her some milk...

 

Is chocolate bad for them? Knowing the kitty did not eat it.

 

The kitty wapz licked it a few times and went back to sleep to get enough rest for the night moves.
