Any further news about mounting the Switchpro horizontally and why that's not recommended?

It shouldn’t be horizontal because if water gets in the connector, it will just sit and corrode. If it’s vertical it will drain out.

Mine is mounted horizontally, following several other taco members here in the PNW. To date, none of us has had issues with moisture penetration although a few of them had it this way for several years now. The fine folks at SP will always recommend you mount it vertically to avoid any water intrusion from condensation, but in my opinion, it's fine. YMMV.

I personally have a fuse block like that to eliminate the need to splice wires. This way you can connect to any of the eight available wires from sp without cutting and re-splicing.

So you’re essentially using the fuse block as a terminal strip, correct? Just trying to clarify in my mind...

It is very easy with switch pros adapter harness. That also eliminates a lot of arb provided wiring for their switches

homemade? it's a very heavily modified paranoid fab bracket. kind of a hack job to figure out what would work. may someday fab up a better one.

So I finally finished wiring and installing my 9100! Thanks to everyone's different write ups and ideas. I already love it and still have a bunch of features to explore.

Has anyone figured out how to set it up so that a light bar, or any of the switches for that matter would be triggered with high beams and secondly, when I do turn my high beams on, the switch panel goes from dim to bright. I'd rather is just stay dim all of the time.

What piggyback fuses do you use for the fuse box under the hood?
