Sounds like a fun job. Good "retirement job". I couldn't do it, walking around on concrete all day. It's good to see businesses putting customer service back into their operations. I still remember the gas station attendants washing windshields, checking tire pressures and under the hood. The only place I've seen anyone pump gas in recent years was in Oregon.

We have one across the freeway and a Love's on the other side of town. I don't go to either one very often. I do get my propane at Pilot and they're mostly positive in service and attitude. I'm sure they'd be better if it weren't November and full of truck drivers and snowbirds. We get a big influx of birds right about Thanksgiving and that's when I get my propane for the turkey fryer. So I'm sure I see them when they are at one of their busiest times.

Time off is a curse sometimes. Stuff is breaking down and the list is getting bigger just in the 2 1/2 days extra days I've taken off this week.

I applied for that job online on Wednesday and received an email saying they will contact me if I'm picked and that this process may take 90 days

I've being actively filling out online job apps for a couple months now , maybe 12 companies and have had 12 denial emails sent back to me . You know the " thank you for applying with our company but unfortunately we can't hire you " style rejection email

    It's probably that I'm 57 , a disabled veteran and other non qualifications !!
