Also, my truck has had a number of various clunks, squeaks, and rattles that have been going on for years and have basically declared "benign" by my mechanic, the dealership, and friends who have more technical knowledge and know-how than I ever will.

These include the interior shaking and vibrating at idle, almost exclusively when the truck is in drive and I'm at a red light with my foot on the brake, and an A/C compressor that clunks on startup when the truck has been sitting for a while. This is most evident if you look at the steering wheel. When the truck is idling in temperatures below about 75°F, again with the transmission in drive, the compressor cycles constantly and reverberates throughout the entire truck. I just got my front brakes replaced in March 2017 and my rear brakes in June, and my truck still squeaks more than I would like when applying the brakes after it has been sitting for a while, or riding the brakes while moving. My brakes have been checked out and given a clean bill of health, and my truck has never failed a safety inspection for any reason. If I take my hands off the wheel while driving straight, my truck does not pull. The steering has remained consistently tight, and my suspension is solid.

My best explanation is that it's an older truck, and I've driven it over some rough terrains, and some things I most certainly shouldn't be driving over...

    I got what you mean...

Are you referring to Ford Rangers? I almost ended up with an '09 Ranger XLT instead of the 2010 Taco I currently have...

    Yup!

Red regular cab short bed 2WD, 2.3L, 5-speed automatic, A/C, cruise, tilt, power windows, power locks, CD player with AUX...

It was brand new and unusually well-optioned, and I am 99% somebody special-ordered it and decided they didn't want it. My dad actually started negotiating with the dealer, but they wouldn't go low enough for his liking so we we walked.

I just got my truck back and they fucked it up! Didn't even get to drive it off the lot when I realized the A/C was blowing very weak out of the center vents. I went back into the service center, told them the A/C was "weak as shit" and that I didn't want the truck back until it was fixed. So, in the waiting room I sit...

The Camry I got as a free loaner...

    IMG_9320.jpg IMG_9321.jpg

I am never taking one of these as a loaner again, solely because the stupid radio automatically locks out access to my iPod the car is moving! The Corolla radio does not do this...

I ended up making the liquor run from hell in this car right before I turned it in, and I found out what happens when a Camry meets a rogue garbage can at about 45 MPH...

    IMG_9324.jpg

Some idiot who lives along a busy stretch of road did not secure their empty garbage can and it blew into my lane.

Going around it was out of the question because there were cars coming in the opposite direction, so my choices were to slam on the brakes and possibly get rear-ended, or hit the garbage can...

    IMG_9325.jpg

Luckily, I had the collision damage insurance...

A/C is fixed now (turns out something wasn't connected properly), but now I noticed that the damn tire pressure warning light is on...

As many people on TW may know, I just had a leaky evaporator core (along with the expansion valve) replaced. As result, the dashboard had to come completely out.

Fog always forms on the windshield on particularly humid days when I've got the A/C on, but it seems like the air coming out of the top dash vents is particularly strong...

    IMG_9328.jpg

Is air always supposed to come out of this vent or is it possible something got screwed up?

Normal. Basically the window is colder than the dew point of the air which is why you have condensation. Nothing you can do unless you can change the laws of thermodynamics.

Air always blows out a little from Defrost. It's a nice feature unless you set it too cold.
