Sounds like a job for an older 12v Dodge with a manual. Kinda beat up to keep it "low key" when you are south of the border. They rarely fail completely, only needing a battery for starting and to shut off the fuel control solenoid to turn the engine off. They can get in the low 20s unloaded (light mods/pump tuning). In the form I'm talking about they are not powerhouses, they are slow by today's standards.

What have you read about front mount dirtbike carriers? Thought about adding one to the Sequoia but it hates me enough(I am impressed at how well it's doing) wouldn't the dirtbike interfere with the headlights? I might be looking at this limo this weekend.
2012 LTZ z71 fully loaded 6.0 188k miles asking $17,500 if I could talk him down to $15k it might be a done deal.

Hmm, how are the autos, only thing I'd want to have in manual is a sports car.

One of my biggest hurdles right now is Debating over the general price. Myself, I'd rather have cheaper and paid off quick. But taxes make me want more expensive and a payment for a larger deduction and less of a donation at the end of the year for the govt to waste. And all of my cash keeps getting siphoned off for the house which doesn't help for a cheaper end vehicle that can't be financed.

Nice, that's a limo for sure, my hopes were that the newly updated 2019s being on the streets will drive prices of the older models down a little more. I haven't read too much on front mount carriers other than i know it'll be illegal to block the headlights and plate. But I'm sure on a full size you could have it positioned to not block them much. I've seen the carriers a few times especially when watching the South Park camper parade when I'm in traffic every Friday and Sunday.

This is what i was thinking originally. It's a 14 Sierra 1500 6" lift on 35s. I'd be fine with more of a 3-4" lift even if it meant dropping a tire size. The article only specifies its a 2014, and the 2500s didn't get the update until 2015. Figured adding air bags and building the suspension appropriately would allow it to hold more payload.

Alright folks, who wants to make big money and get to do this to @Stig packages?

(Keep in mind the preferred Brandon delivery is to just punt it into a nearby field)

It's a program called Delivery Service Partners, and Amazon is hoping it will solve the problem of last-mile delivery. With an initial investment "as low as $10,000," according to Amazon, an entrepreneur can start a business that hires drivers and leases up to 40 vans to deliver packages from warehouses to homes.

    Better check yourself!

Big corporation Amazon promising tons of money up front but we all know that'll last until next quarter when $18 trillion in profit isn't good enough for shareholders and takes that out of the pocket of the working man.

    MTGA for today...

Got it last winter and also bedliner for it. It was too cold to put in when it was new, then got Decked and never wanted to take them back out. Now it's getting colder again...so i decided I need to get it done.

This gallon kit is water based...not too confident on how tough it'll be. And with tall ass bedsides, we'll see how far it stretches.

    Hi CO TW!

I've got some 16" steelies that a guy in Eagle, CO is interested in. He just had knee surgery, can't drive to Durango to pick them up so wants them shipped but that sounds expensive. Can anybody deliver 4 steelies boxed in TRD boxes to Eagle from Durango sometime in the near future?

Also, I ordered DCLB sliders and skids from RCI in Fort Collins. They should be done sometime in October. Is anyone making the trip from FC to Durango then that would be willing to deliver my loot? Rather save a bit on shipping if someone is already making that drive. I'd pay for a tank of gas or a weekend supply of beer.

    Thanks you guys!!!

My skids and sliders should be done in October as well, I could at least get them from FC to Denver for you. No plans to head down to Durango around then though.

Any here Fluid Film or do anything else preventative before winter? I have a slow water drip coming out of the front passenger side frame that I'm assuming is from driving around in the rain lately (no I haven't had the A/C or defrost on so it's not A/C drainage), and just seeing that makes me a bit concerned about any brine fluid hanging out in there once winter starts. I'll be driving more this winter now I have a couple of kids to deliver to various hockey rinks nearly every day.

Thanks! I will keep that in mind as we get closer to October. That might save enough miles to do a one day turn and burn if necessary.

You don't have too much to worry about, but rinse it when it's nasty and put fluid film on if you want... Can't hurt since it doesn't cost much and all you need to do is spray it all over.

I didn’t even know Ford made a diesel F150. For a cool $69k you can get yourself one.

Thanks. I come from the land of salt (northern NY). I know it's not as bad here, but when they made a big deal out of using salt brine again a few years ago, I had flashbacks to 5 year old cars rusted to shit. I'm pretty diligent about keeping it hosed off.

Yeah i never used it, then i was in Oregon and it seemed like even the plastic was rusting. So i grabbed a bottle and applied it liberally. It was so easy that I did the same on the tundra just to keep it looking pretty.
