I've driven through sedona, don't care for the hippies and spiritualists. We did the backway to CK on Thanksgiving. Probably wouldn't do it again. Its becoming the go-to trail for mall crawling stock 4runners and tacomas.

We have rules for our group, 34" tires or larger, armor, winches, lockers, etc. Definitely not an overlander group. Everyone goes home broken.

The turnout gear fits ok for me. I have lots of stuff in my box, so it is packed to the top.

Unfortunately a majority of people have no idea what Leave No Trace is. I honestly did not know about it before I worked for the National Park Service. I lose a little bit of hope for humanity every time I see anything like that.

I had to pick up a whole bag of trash from my cabin in Cherokee because kids go up and down the mountain and toss their beer cans everywhere. Don't you just love going to the wilderness to relax and get away from people? Oh wait...

    Outstanding!!
Not bad for a 15 yr old, 1 owner Tacoma.
2 compliments and a guy leaned out the window while I was taking pics and yelled "How much"?!

Cost me a bit more than the fiat but the fiat was always clean.

There's a chick I've seen at Gulches with a pink Jeep. She wheels it pretty good.

Nice! There are a number of Jeep tour companies in Sedona- to give rides, rentals, etc. one of these companies had pink Jeeps- was weird to see.

Beautiful area though! Lots of red rock/dirt- like our clay.

They’re slow as slugs and cause traffic jams... on the damn road. I was not a happy driver when we were driving through, we had the Lexus that day.

    Absolutely- and anyone else!

Flexible but here is what I am looking at:

Will have the wife and kids- and need to drive home 2500 miles too, lol. Looking at 12/28 or 29 or so for JT.

12/26-27 tenatively planned for Anza Borrego/ Ocotillo and the weird shit on the backside of the Smelly Sea. Mebbe a quick pass through Glamis.

Not camping on this trip; still looking at everything; likely stay in PS/Indio one night and Borrego another...

Thanks man. It's a 20 footer. Get close and the rock chips and oxidation are pretty clear. But hey, it needed some love. It's been a great truck all these years.
