    I had a very "shitty" smell in my truck about four years ago when I would turn the blower motor on. Come to find out, there was mold growth in the evaporator coil and sludge building up in the condensate pan. I'm not exactly sure if that's the case with your situation, but it's always worth a try to grab some foaming evaporator coil cleaner from either a dealer or a parts store (assuming they still have the A/C shit still out...)
