about 2 weeks ago I ordered a obdii cable from San Francisco...paid upfront all shipping fees. Just got this in the mail from Fedex



Fvcking tariffs...didnt sign up for that.

 

His bump stops 1K... suspension is 10x times the price of my 93 truck and all recovery gear...

Yes this is how FedEx collects taxes and brokerage fees for years. Canada Post and UPS would do this COD. FedEx bills you later. Checking the tracking number online would show fees collectible. When I got my Icons from Toyota of Dallas in 2011, the follow-on FedEx bill was over $200.

It sucks but it's a lot better than UPS Freight, which leaves the pallet at the border in limbo until you find yourself a broker. I paid $300 HST + $150 CAD brokerage fee to get my bumper through customs, on top of the $450 US Pelfreybilt charged for shipping.

What pisses me off is this is a tax on a tax on a tax...

I'm not pissed at FedEx, cuz they got it to me in under 24 hrs. Usually I just ship to other side of border and retrieve it myself
