They’re going against all basic rules of a car company. Their non-dealership factory direct model has been very controversial ever since their inception.

Their introduction of fully electric cars are pressuring other car manufacturers to create their own affordable electric and renewable car model, especially with the Model 3. Just look at their sales numbers, you can tell there is a demand for them.

Tesla is arguably one of the more successful car companies in the last couple decades to start from nothing. Look at other failed companies, like DMC. John DeLorean was the brainchild of General Motors. He build his own company from nothing and failed after only a few years and only one underpowered, overpriced, and frankly terrible car - the DMC-12.

You don’t have to like Tesla. But they’re doing something good by creating cars that are green, and giving car manufacturers an excuse to compete in a fairly narrow market.

Elon Musk is no Lee Iacocca, but he’s doing something.

Fuck Chrysler. They make the shittiest, unreliable, and downright garbage vehicles in the entire car industry.

I will own any car in the world.

    Besides a Chrysler.

We’re still getting a Model 3. The E320 is hanging onto the thread of life, and never paying for gas again sounds great.

I have then same opinion of Tesla as I do for Apple. I love their products, but I do not respect their business model.

Tesla is the Apple of the car industry. My entire TED talk was about protecting your Right to Repair, which Tesla downright ignores.

I’m still going to buy iPhones and MacBooks and get a Model 3. That’s because I like them, and it’s a free goddamn country.

Despite what some may think there's nothing green or sustainable about owning a Tesla. The best thing Tesla could do at this point is give Elon the boot and stop selling bullshit fantasies. There's all these other products that they've talked about, but no place to really build them. The Model Y, Semi and Roadster where are they going to build these vehicles? China? They don't even have enough liquidity at this point to build another plant and they've leveraged every asset they own.

Chrysler and GM make me the most money on the side... so much stuff about both the brands that just don't hold up. only thing both are good for are v8s.. everything else they make is pretty much trash.

Hell the GM v6s if your injectors go bad, the heads have to come off. AND THEY ALWAYS GO BAD.

I'm not saying Toyota doesn't have its issues.. hell our new 8 speeds and the cvts are becoming an issue. but at least most of our stuff comes apart easily or isn't too over engineered.

Your 1996 Tacoma frame is more reliable than any modern truck RAM makes.

Cummins engines are the exception. Everything else falls apart around it.
