They all sound the same on YouTube. Especially when you compare the same brand in different sizes.

I have. There's just too many variables. How good was the video quality before uploaded to YT? How far away was the camera? Was the engine hot or cold?

Ha I didn't think about that! Woops, to many variables.

Well, I've always liked Magnaflow, so I turned to YT to decide what size muffler I wanted. 14"? 18"? 22"? On YT, they all seemed to have the same loudness. But there's a huge difference in person.

Yep. All sounds the same on YT.

My Jeep is pretty obnoxious, at least to me.....small flowie to clear the 4link.

Nothing is going to sound like my Charger..... but, I don't mind a nice tone.

Just woundlnt mind hearing a few of there are any local is all.

I've gotta magnaflow on mine but it's a second gen. I do really like the tone though.

I picked one up from a member here. 14" 8x11. Was a bit too loud, so added a second 14". It's there when I'm on the gas, but I'm not waking anyone up at 3am. It'll never sound as nice as my Trans Am though.

Nothing? I drive the STI every day.

Bought the 06 as a project/winter beater, but it’s actually really in great shape. I’m replacing a TON of stuff on the motor/clutch parts. I have about $600 in parts invested, I have the heads at a machine shop right now getting decked. New head gaskets, timing belt, pulleys, oil pan, ground the corrosion off the block and intake to paint, degreased the engine bay, new throwout bearing/retainer/spring/pivot/fork....

    She’s a project!!!

Thanks, I grew up in Hudson so we went to Fireflys regularly. Pretty standard; didn’t blow my mind.

Going to a craft beer and bbq event in Hopkinton today; maybe their bbq food truck will impress. Hoping they’re not only catering to the IPA crowd like seems to be the trend.

I was actually thinking of going to that, but the wife had plans today and I didn’t feel like going solo. Instead I get to help my dad grab some furniture for their cape house.

For BBQ, I know it's probably too far west....
BTs in Sturbridge. 2 minutes off the Pike.
Have gotten there myself yet... But, have not heard anything even remotely bad.

After breakfast, my middle daughter and I are going to try to harass some fish.... Need to find a new spot though I think.

Made it to NC yesterday in about 11 hours. Back actually wasn’t bad, but I think stretching it out at stops made a big difference. Supposedly there’s a big storm coming at some point, hopefully all the guys laughing at me for driving get their flights home canceled:rofl:
