3 cans does the entire frame+ and the coating lasts well over a year. Gives it a waxy coating.

Yuma is putting in traffic circles now. I think we have 4 now. 3 and 4 are right down the street from work and get pretty busy during winter harvest season with produce trucks going to some of the cooling houses. 4 isn't quite done yet but will be interesting when it is. Both 3 and 4 are on either side of a freeway overpass and both have freeway entrances and exits. I have noticed, with 3 anyway, that traffic does pretty much keep moving. 4 is going to be fun with morning commuters, school buses and produce trucks when it finally gets finished.

Yeah the likelihood of similar incidents just goes up with the population density and apparently low average intelligence of said population around here. I equipped our car and truck with dashboard cams to at least help in an accident that turns into one of those "he said, she said" type situations - which we have had before. Fortunately, we haven't had to deal with one of those lately; I did have a very close call that I got on video though in February. If I would've been a second faster, there's a chance I wouldn't be chatting with you fine folks right now...

No doubt. Most can't drive in a straight line. This winter is going to be a little exciting with #4 almost done. It wasn't even there last winter so neither the seasonal ag workers or the snowbirds know it's there. The good thing is I can avoid it if I want and I usually do if it's too late in the morning. That road leads to a main road for a big housing area and a bunch of schools and a college or 2. So if you hit it wrong that stretch is full of buses and commuters mixed in with normal traffic...another reason I go to work early and avoid all that.

Those entitled asshats sure make my day as well, in our area some of the asshattery can be attributed to foreigners that drive like they do in their home country. The rest of em are bunch of self important assclowns that have an O’well f everybody who doesn’t recognize my importance attitude.

I can't think of a better description of driving in this fine sanctuary city of ours.

I know the grass is always greener, etc., but it seems whenever we go to another city (in the midwest at least), driving is so much less aggravating. We drive to Indy a lot for weekend trips and I always say for the first half day or so, I'm the biggest a$$hole in town. That is, until I sort of absorb the local level of courtesy, and start doing things like, you know, actually stopping at stop signs, waiting my turn at 4 way stops, letting others merge, driving close to the speed limit, stuff like that.

One thing I've noticed, even before the traffic circles, the folks that are on the streets early in the mornings do so to avoid all the bs so we are usually the most courteous drivers because we want the other vehicles to know what we're doing. Lots of turn signals, letting other guys go who are a little more commited into a turn, a lot of understanding that heavy vehicles don't do anything fast, watch the vehicle lights because not all trailer lights work, a little extra following distance...after 0615 it turns into a zoo and none of that applies.
