Alabama is given the same credit for the 2017 championship (2016 season) that the NCAA gives UCF for the last one.

Notre Dame gets the same credit in 2012, too...... But Alabama played ND that year and I can't recall how that went?

yeah, so basically Alabama is a lot like Notre Dame and UCF

 

UCF stands alone claiming that particular title... I don't hear ND fans claiming it from 2012, and sure don't hear Bama fans claiming 2017.

 

I was simply commenting towards whoever earlier said "the NCAA gives UCF credit" ...they also give it to Bama....and Bama claims more fake ones so....

Just saying. But, I’m one of those rare birds that likes Bama and LSU. I always have. Either way, Bama has the most titles but I don’t really care about the controversies of the past. I just like watching CFB!

 

I'm just not one that worries about history. Teams change every year, so each year it's time for a new go at it. Nobody has titles for the 2018 season, so all equal right now. Wouldn't matter to me if LSU had 40 titles or 0 titles, still a fan, and still going to be focused on the present.

 

Do you think Coach O is the guy? I like him and think he gets a bad rap, but also wonder if they could have done better. I honestly don’t know.

 

I think they could've done better, but not for his price. They're solid with Dave Aranda it's just always the offense that has questions. There's no question he's a great face and personality for LSU, but can he make the changes to get them to actually move forward offensively. He always gets the rap of "is he the right guy?" But honestly...I want to make sure the offensive coordinator is the right guy. I'm hoping one day Aranda moves into the HC position honestly.
