Yea.., but I was running 4.56s with 35s, I was thinking about the 06 tundra, but after doing some research I don’t know if it’ll be stronger I think they have the same size ring gear.

They have the same 8.4". You'd need to go to a 2nd gen Tundra to get a different size diff. How are you breaking it?

@DMCtacoma was saying the second gen tundra axles are better/ stronger/ wider than the stock taco/ and should keep all the wheel speed sensors and abs stuff happy. That'll be my plan some day

Yeah same stuff, only down side to the huge tundra new stuff is its 5 lug. Have you ever considered a stock oem 4:56? Out of a older taco . My cousin and I buy oem gear ratios diffs from okder trucks instead of aftermarket gears and install pricing and they work great.

First time it was due to a pinion seal leak this time I don’t even know how I haven’t taken it out since April, taking it to a shop later today to see what might have caused it. Ill Most likely just have them fix it.

Ok thanks I’ll keep that in mind probably going to stick with my stock rear axle for now.

Sounds like bad luck. Hopefully they can figure it out once they take it apart. Do you have a locker or lsd?

Ah alright - the first gen Tundras only came with the same diff as the non-locking 2nd gen Tacomas. There is a difference between your diff and those, but it sounds like your problems aren't caused by strength of the diff. Usually you'd feel and hear a diff break when it's a strength failure...

I have one. All the brackets except for stock spring perches have been cleaned off.

0908181351_HDR.jpg Drove 3 hours to pick these up before work today. The guy I got them from is from LSK.

Anyone have coil springs they want to get rid of? Looking for 500 and 600 spring rates
