    Thats the only pic i took installeed.3/16 steel it really is a pitty they use such weak materials in what can be a real stress point

    I also drilled all the holes out to 1/2” and got grade 8 bolts and lock nuts

    If you look at all the marketed plates, at least the ones I’ve seen they only cover the area where the bumper actually mounts. These tie much more of the frame together. Just take a piece of cardboard and place it over the mounting bolts and tap it with a hammer this will mark where to cut the holes. Slide it back over the bolts and mark the edge of the area you wNt to cover. Cut it out and you have a pattern for the plate shape and where to drill. Getting the factory stufs out is tht pita

    Finally mounted the maxtrax and put in my baja designs squadron sports into the bumper. Also dropped the bumper about an inch for more room to flex.
