They said she worked a 12hr shift and had just got off. I can’t see this deal happening UNLESS she was drunk.
On a side note, the area where this took place is the worst part of Dallas that they’re trying to turn around with gentrification. All kinds of yuppies are moving to that location that’s pretty much in the heart of the south Dallas ghetto. Besides her doing what she did, I wish the guy would’ve just called 911 instead of answering his door. It sounds like he was a very good part of society. Sad deal for him and his family.

 

Of course the standard discussion in the modern media has to focus on some identity politics angle - gender, race, religion, for example - rather than any assignment of personal responsibility. Still, if they can't make it about gender (male), race (Caucasian), and/or religion (Christian), theyve always got the fall-back scapegoats of "fascist" Police and their "literally Nazi" enabler in D.C.

Curious to see which unsurprising way this one goes.

 

I'm scratching my head over how she had a key to the wrong place.

 

"I was under the impression she walked into the apartment and shot the guy sitting there. Nope. Her keys were still in the door. She couldn’t get it to unlock and when he opened it to figure out wtf someone was doing trying to get in his door she shot him. CLEARLY she failed in multiple points of this scenario."

 

Latest developments are she actually knew the guy well. They might have dated. So how did she mistake her apartment and then mistake him for someone she didn't know? This is going to snowball.
