Assuming it’s like radiant barrier plywood decking, it should face in.

That's kinda what I thought too. There will be a vapour barrier covering the bats with this stuff on top. Just figured it be a lot easier to work around the joists than OSB & it provides some insulating value.

    Ok Bill, here we go......

    3 oz Titos
    2 oz Loco Coco
    3 tbsp brown sugar
    2 tbsp Key Lime juice
2 whole fresh Vanilla beans (insides only)
    1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
    8 oz ice

    20180908_200718.jpg

    20180908_201809.jpg

    20180908_202508.jpg

I think the next one I'm gonna do 4 tbsp of the lime juice. The Loco Coco took over but I think adds some complexity. I'm trying to get that graham cracker taste and it helps to thin it out. Even with my Blendtech it's super thick.

    20180908_202238.jpg

It just expands my repuatour! (Added repuatour for Murph @medic2230 )

Make sure you leave an air gap between the insulation and roof deck. The foam insulation cuts easier than drywall, seems like a perfect use of it, OSB would suck.

I've got those Durovent baffles in between, then the bats, vapour barrier & finally the insulated board. Put in a ridge vent too.

Did you install the Roxul? That stuff is the itchiest insulation you can buy, it’s great for sound reduction though.

Yeah, itchy & dusty AF too. But it doesn't mould or get eaten by varmints. Thank god I only had to do it once. Trust the walls will be easier then workin' below this stuff.

Got that right! Neighbours hardly ever hear my primal screams of mistakes anymore. Once the walls are in I could go serial killer or listen to EDM all night while grinding, no one will ever be the wiser.
