Drove 450 miles to pick up a canopy! After I figure out how to wire it in (only got the canopy side of the harness) I can focus on setting up some sorta sleep situation.

 

I like your hood decal. Where did you get it? I have a couple ideas for a hood scoop if the place you got it from does custom decals.

 

My 7th Tacoma just picked up 2 weeks ago 2018 4x4 silver SB with custom TRD compass emblems and blacked out badges .I went right to it with the mods starting with Bilsteins all around front set at 2.0 with Super Swampers Trxus Interco 255/85/16 on stock 16 Alloy OEM rims no rubbing and caint believe how better she rides and sits right at a 2 inches from stock hight, custom bed rack for my Kayaks with auto retractable straps, Yakima roof basket with JunkYard roof racks 10 bucks, Kolbalt Heavy Duty Black slim deep tool box custom made brackets by me, 30 inch KC slim spot bar mounted on basket, Mods coming up front light bar with KC daylighters slim round lights.

Anyways, so this is first time tacoma build for me. I am going with a +beach+cruiser+utility+dailydriver theme, so calling this "Surf Taco Truck" build. Stay tuned as I will likely sell this in 8 mos

Got new Method Racing 701's (16x8) and BFG TA KM3 305/70/16. No rub, no trimming/cutting whatsoever, just removed front mud flaps. stripes on the way.... baseball glove brown interior from roadwire on the way, along with prinsu, rack vision x Optimus halo lights, HID Morimotos, and bed lights.... Then leitner rack and modular storage.

 

That’s what’s up...I was not trying to put anyone down meso...I was just saying I wish the truck was like this out of the box so all the people who have spent money to get the truck to this point or near to better then this may not have felt compelled to do so.

 

Signed papers to trade my gray 16 Sport 2WD for a new Blazing Blue 17 TRD OR. Going Monday to pick it up.

 

Installed a pair of Westin 4” Nerf Bars on my 2018 TRD OR today. I really like the look. They are solid and best yet my little kids can now easily climb in and out of the back seat.

 

Painted the chrome bezel portion of my sport grille. Looks a lot better now.

 

Looking HARD, bro! Definitely ready to hit the mall. I bet you can see all the shopping carts with that bro-bar, bro!

 

I hear ya. In fact, if the truck came stock with that TSB flash I probably wouldn’t have looked into the OVtune. I’m glad Toyota finally listened and stepped up to the plate.
