    The fact is that filing a personal bankruptcy case is public record. However, the fact you filed is not something that is easy to obtain by the general public. There is a publicaccess system known as PACER which contains information regarding bankruptcyfilings throughout the country.

    My suggestion is for everyone to file claims with PayPal/CC companies right away. Doesn't cost you anything and you could have recourse in the end. The longer you wait the harder it will be. There is eveidence of the company telling people to wait and not file claims so they can file bankruptcy. If there is ever a legal route to take, it's some sort of evidence to suggest they were planning things.
    Something similar happened to me and a lot of others and the Police were inviolved with an investigation into fraud. Local fab guy was taking money for orders he had no intention of filling. He was also suggesting cash payments to keep people from getting money back. What is happeneing with Pelfreybilt is exactly what this person did.
