Ch. 7 Bankruptcy Filed 9/6/18

I have no skin in the game, but their response is the most heinous thing I may have ever seen.

A few important points:

1. They’ve known about their own mismanagement for at least a year. Getting to the point that you have to file bankruptcy does not just happen out of the blue. Especially for people who have filed twice before.

2. Victim shaming is not okay.

3. Investors aren’t stupid. They would have known that social media would be ugly and would not have pulled out simply from that. I’m guessing that the 49 creditors and 600+ customers that are never getting their money back, the clear lack of business skills, the mismanagement of social media in a big big way, and the clear overspending are all reasons that these supposed investors pulled out.

4. I’d like to think that if they hadn’t disappeared from social media, had instead actually owned up to their mistakes, and had outlined a clear plan as to how to make things right for their customers, things would’ve been different. I know I would’ve had a lot of respect for someone to admit that they did wrong but they were fixing it. Instead, these people lied and stole and claimed that their dear #pelfreybiltfamily caused them to go under, and then lose their second chance. They shit on their #pelfreybiltfamily

5. I’m sure that they are lovely people. But these are not the actions of lovely people. Actions speak louder than words.

 

There was a fab shop that did this shit in Georgia. Opened up as like Kennesaw mountain fab, burnt customers, made shitty product, went off the map. Resurfaces as like tactical armor fab or some shit, rinse repeat, resurfaces a third time, finally company dies.

 

Probably going to start selling LED bulbs with lifetime warranties.

 

To me, this would be one of the best possible outcomes from this series of events. A change in how the fab industry works.

 

Everyone can challenge and dispute Pelfreybilts right to include them in Bankruptcy.
The judge will listen to each case, because they knowingly kept taking money and posted here in public asking people to hold off on filing with banks and PayPal to get money back, when they were filing .
The judge will probably hold off they’re bankruptcy and do a investigation .
Chances are good they will be ordered to pay !!!

 

I can’t believe Pelfreybilt blamed their customers that the ‘investors’ pulled out because everyone was disputing their PayPal and cc charges and the investors pulled out because of this. Wow, blaming your customers who forked out their hard earned cash for a product they would never receive? Wow Pelfreybilt, just wow.

Well. This sucks. Company takes my money and then blames me for their bankruptcy. Not at all ok

 

I agree. Problem is the precedent has been set and everyone operates that way now. We the customers should start saying no to paying up front.

I was thinking this. You have to be pretty brave to do shit like this.

I won't be surprised if people go after them with the intent to harm. But I hope for Pelfreybilt sake as bad as this is nothing happens to harm them physically. After all as much money as they may have taken that is no excuse to harm.

Similar thing happened here north of the wall earlier this year involving a company similar to Pelfreybilt .Company claimed bankruptcy. Was much less money owed though. He's lucky so many Canadians are so nice and didn't go after him or his family.

But he's being charged for fraud as he was claiming to get stuff he wasn't actually a distributor for. And was merely taking new orders to pay back older customers . Problem was each customer he took from to pay another, became a new customer to pay back
And customers waited over a year to get money back .

I was lucky after a month and a half I got my money back for my treds I ordered from him that he never delivered which was when I found out he's not even a registered distributor of theirs like he claimed
