That’s what I don’t understand....how are people getting upset at all the ones who are losing their money on orders that won’t be fulfilled now.

These people have every right to be upset. Especially since orders and pre orders were still being taken knowing the company was in the red.

I think this is an opportunity for a fabrication company on here to closely look at Pelfreys successful products and what made them popular and duplicate it! i.e. their dual swing out rear high clearance bumper and make it better! Add some custom touches, etc.

If I were a owner of a fab company you better know I would be happy right now and duplicate pelfreys products and make them BETTER!!

 

Someone should call PayPal and ask how this effects their claims lol.

The way it was explained to me by PayPal was when I started the dispute PayPal put a hold on my funds and gave Pelfrey a week to reply. My dispute was elevated to a claim the 6th and they said if Pelfrey doesn’t reply by the 16th I’ll get paid the 17th.

Really sucks as I spent 3k on exactly what I wanted. And if I get my money back it will go to a company I wasn’t 100% sure I liked the product.

Not only that, but to take a chapter out of their book for marketing, and the way that their customer service used to be. Their whole family thing was a legit thing until the last year or so. They did a lot of things well until they didn't anymore. I think there are a lot of lessons to be learned with this situation, and if someone has the knowhow and ability to jump into the market, they can let this be a learning experience.
