Our dual swingout will be released this week. It will work on gen 2 and gen 3 Tacoma's both standard and high clearance. Finishing touches were happening today.

Would that be the same as theft by deception?

50% down and 50% on delivery is pretty standard across fab and construction industry in my experience. I used to build docks and that was our policy. For most businesses in those industries regardless of size it's hard to keep enough cash on hand to not take 50% for materials and consumables to actually create the product. Labor and profit can be collected on the back end.

That being said if they were asking for 100% payment and/or cash up front then that is a huge red flag.

I had debated buying one of their bumpers and decided to go with Brute Force Fab instead and even though I had to wait 6 months I am happy with my choice.

Can Lasernut take the design and adopt it as their own product now?

They didn’t actually fabricate their own stuff from what I understood. It was all outsourced to LaserNut.

Depends on the agreement that they had with Pelfreybilt. If Lasernut had to sign an agreement that they wouldn't use the same design, then maybe they're restricted. That being said, bankruptcy might change how this operates, as well.

I'm sure they probably have a stockpile of them right now. If they didn't get paid I'm sure they held onto their product.

Call to Lasernut Monday morning maybe?

You'll have to do that using a bumper from another vendor...#sorrytoosoon

    That's actually some great news.

    #PelfryStrong

They could improve on the design by simply delivering the product that was ordered.

What’s funny was that they fed me a story about how my order was delayed because their in house welders were on vacation.
