    Yeah, permanent vacation..

All jokes aside I feel horrible for everyone involved. And for some reason I even feel bad for the Pelfrey's. It's hard for me to think they wanted this to happen.

^^^^ Agree 110%. It would be great if some lessons can be learned from this unfortunate situation both on the vendor side and on the customer side.

And thankfully with technology that wasnt available in the past, there is a lot of timestamped communication that a bored DA could bring to court.

This sounds way too planned out. You don't just wake up one day and say "oh we need to file bankruptcy..." I've been proud to rep my hybrid front bummper up to this point, now I'm just embarrassed. Sounds like terrible management and good planning to screw a bunch of people over.

Sorry to all those who have money wrapped up in this headache.

Depending on how much they are owed, they maybe in the best position to take PFB's market share, considering they will have the drawings of all the product they've been building for them.

seems rather odd that PFB's recent upgrade from 4000 sq ft shop to 12,000 sq ft, yet a bunch of their metal fab is farmed out, presumably to meet demand. I would imagine overhead + financing costs on a bunch of new equipment did not equal incoming cash flow. Employees owed monies I would hope are paid out first; I know that's how it works here in Canuckistan, after the govt. gets paid, and before the bank.

I remember them referring to "their welders" in the past so maybe that's how they considered the setup, but interesting nonetheless.
