How do you wheel or use the truck? Do you go out at night along service roads and what not? Lights are a great addition and having an integrated one in the bumper makes for mounting easy.

What’s the advantage there? It’s lighter, right? So I likely wouldn’t need to change my suspension? Someone said something about any damage would be tough to fix though?

Even the steel if it got damageid it would be tough to repair it's 3/16 so you can't really "body work" any dents you get in them. And itd be tough to bend back if let's say a wing got bent. They are stout.

Of you are running stock front springs I'd recc replacing with a little stifers springs.

Yes aluminum is quite a bit lighter. Think of it this way the more weight you add the more acceleration, braking, and fuel mileage suffers. If you don't really get off the pavement then having a ton of extra weight is more of a hindrance. Also the likelihood of damaging an aluminum bumper on the pavement is far less than someone who wheels theirs pretty hard.

Aluminum can be very tough as well. @SC2SC runs an aluminum Slimline SOS bumper and his truck is far from a mall crawler. It's held up really well.

    Beer cans, too! :cookiemonster:

I paid more for my aluminum Streamline for all the reasons @ThunderCookies mentioned.

For off-roading, I have not seen a center section off a full bumper- or a Streamline ever get more than a small scuff. The Streamline will also support winching. I also have IFS and Mid skids as aluminum and T case skid steel- all SOS.

Skids are a wear item for me; and I do wheel- albeit with 265's.

Hard to imagine a company could go bankrupt after taking $1000s of people hard earned money that they knew they would never deliver on, 77 pages worth of people... And this isn't the first time 2001, 2009, and now 2018... I feel for those that won't see that money back..
