All I gotta say is I'm sure Mike had no idea what what was going on financially until the end. When they made his sign the disclosure aggrement an let him go.

Mike just up an moved his life out from AZ to CA not but 4 months ago. All for the company. I feel bad for him. Living in that comi state an now not having a job.

 

There is no way that his NDA restricts him from reporting on any wrongdoing within the company/organization. He could easily put an end to the speculation outside of the aforementioned bankruptcy, unless he too was complicit, which I highly doubt.

 

Name change and move to different state and do it all over again...

 

Yeah, was probably sign this and get 3 months pays or get nothing. You can't MAKE anyone sign those- he got something out of it

Yup, he's a great dude. Hung out with him as much as I could while he was in flagstaff. Hopefully he lands on his feet.

 

If all the money is gone, there literally might not be anything for creditors and customers. If they “just” mismanaged the business and spent the money on rent, material, labor, equipment, prototypes, product testing and grew too fast that is one thing. If they bought many new cars for personal use, took extravagant vacations (thinly disguised as marketing and industry events) and pulled unrealistic salaries to benefit themselves that is another thing entirely. I don’t know what the case is here.

It just feels wrong they can walk away without criminal repercussions since this sounds like a fraud, especially at the end.

Side note, I don’t like how some people seem to legally abuse bankruptcy laws for personal benefit.

 

Their website is still up, I'm assuming people can still pay there. Is there anyway to get that site taken down?

Everything is out of stock. I looked to see if it was a Shopify store so I could report it. It looks like it's a wordpress site, which means it's self managed.

Damn theres almost 1,000 people viewing this. If some company told me they werent shipping my product and not giving me back my money especially the 2 to 3gs people pay for these things id be beyond upset.

 

This is sickening. A pattern proves intent. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

 

Man, following this for the last week has been rough. I've been a fan of Pelfreybilt for years and was finally in a position to work on upgrading my truck. I liked the idea of having a shop local, support local, etc. Purchased a rear bumper at the start of the year and was eyeing additional armor in the near future. Now I have to find alternatives and there will be a part of me irked by having things not matching (but that's a personal problem).

Sorry for all the folks that are in a bad way financially from this. It is a damn shame everything has gone this way :/
