    I'm so pissed.

PB took our money, spent it on trips/trucks, pissed it away, and is disappearing.
They filed CH 7, so no one gets anything back.
There are no magical investors to be had.

And the mods are locking all the threads in their forum.

    Did you pay cc? Disputable?

I’m really bummed for all of you guys, they seemed like a solid company to buy from (I had their front bumper on my spreadsheet). If enough people using the same cc company (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) paid, couldn’t everyone submit a fraud request that would mount to a lawsuit on their end? I.E. - they refund everyone and take PB to court for fraud with the gratuitous amounts of evidence, including the second gen high clearance group buy as a last ditch effort.

Fraud might be an avenue. Think of all the preorder $ they took in. I read that a lot of people paid cash, and had orders out as far as a year. Also read they bought two new Lexus vehicles, and read that they have filed bankruptcy a couple times already. Also I read they might have filed a business bankruptcy, which might not affect their personal assets. It sounds like they knew what they were doing, and profiting off it.

The mods will delete it soon enough. Putting salt in the wound doesn’t make light of a heavy situation. You are correct, though. Stealing livelihood is a real stinky poop way of living life.

I’m still confused on people paying cash for an order. Was that a local thing or what? Even locally, I’d never do that for paper trail purposes.

Preorders on a year on delivery is super suspect. The DFW guys had a 2 month delivery “guarantee” or something. Someone help me remember.

I don’t know about personal expenditures and honestly, I don’t believe most of what I read. All I know is that people are being screwed out of hard earned money and that’s enough to be upset. Maybe they come from money and this a shitty “joke” (explaining the supposed personal purchases). Maybe they’re good at their craft and terrible business people (the likely truth, statistically verifiable). Or at the worst, they’re super cons and tricking people out of a few thousand dollars (a terrible waste of “talent” on their end — much bigger pots of gold elsewhere).

In any case, what they did was wrong and I hope there is resolution for those involved. I can’t believe how tacky it is! A leading business can’t get their shit together. Such a sham(e)

I tagged you guys in the “Those who shall not be named” thread on some info that might help get you a refund, if other methods don’t work.

Idk I think we would all like to see the best i people, but at the end of the day some people are just shitty. At least maybe on a positive note we can look forward to some new fab shops coming out of the woodwork to pick up on some of the business opportunity. :drunk:I’d love to see some new players in the game.

I paid with CC. I've opened a dispute. Chase seems to be dragging their heels.

They tried to get people to pay in cash/ACH saying it saved them money, which is true. They didn't have to pay CC fees.

It also means they didn't get CC buyer protections.

They're probably not bad people, but handled their success poorly.

Until that impacts others, oh well.

Once they have my money and run off, fuck 'em.

Pretty much. I didn’t even buy anything and I’m heated myself just thinking about how they handled everything, and to top it all off they make a fucking pity post basically trying to portray that if their customers had believed in them it would have all been okay!!???

Guess I have the wife to thank for that. Hah I know you wouldn’t file for bankruptcy on me at least! :rofl:Glad you can still have some humor about the whole situation.
