He did tell me about planning to purchase the car but this was before any of this crap happened.

 

This is totally crazy and makes sense.... but what doesn't make sense is why they would work to create such awesome products and customer service (up until recently) and bust their ass that much only to drop it all at a (maybe) scheduled time? I'm sure someone over there was smart enough to pick up a calculator and go; "gee, if we don't fuck these people over and instead keep doing what we are doing, we can make a shitload more money the longer we do this and include a #PelfreyFamily after every post we make." Unless of course, they blew it all and really didn't have a choice. This is definitely the craziest vendor-related thing I have seen thus far.

 

But all you "creditors" need to do your part and make facts clear

 

So why is their website still up? Looks like you can go on there and still buy things.

Coincidental.

The only thing we can safely assume, is that this direction was being traveled much longer than the last 2 weeks.. my guess is, at minimum, they saw this coming 6 months ago.

What we do know for sure is that they spent their final weeks making sure they had their ass covered, and were planning on fucking everybody even when taking money for orders that were never going to happen.

 

This might sound crazy, but nobody on TW or Instagram can shut down their website.

 

I don't think it's fair to start laying blame or rousing suspicion at this moment on mh.meier. At best, he's an employee. At worst, he signed an NDA. Who knows what the complete story is behind this is.

The customers screwd it up.

 

All I know is what I have read here... having said that business much larger than this and much less reputable file for bankruptcy every week, and nobody ever goes to jail. They have good attorneys.

 

I dunno about that whole investor thing.

Not many people with money to invest look at a company that’s already flopping around on the floor, and then blast their social media profiles that they’re financially ruined and see a good investment. Especially when you need “$2 million” worth of someone else’s money.

Way too much risk for that to have really been an actual idea, IMO. The only thing keeping them alive was the customer base, which they already cut at the knee and then left them without info or response.

 

When there's dozens/hundreds of employees and it's legit- these are individuals and obviously squandered these peoples' money

 

Exit plan?

 

No doubt. I wonder now too..... the last time they charged someone for product. Wouldn't surprise me if they tried taking someone's money even after they filed bankrupcty.
