and this is why I have a hard time following a company that grows too quickly.....I've never liked Pelfry from the start, even since back in 2013 when I bought my 06 and discovered TW lol

I think tacomaworld should step in and tell the venders if they cannot meet a 3 month timeline than they cannot be a vender on here. Pelfreybilt used Tacomaworld to basically scam people out of their money. Tacomaworld needs to step in on future purchases on these fabrication companies.

There is a guy that paid $6900 for 2 bumpers for Pelfreybilt last January and still didn’t receive his dual swing out bumpers. That’s ridiculous. And Pelfreybilt even charged them sales tax on items not even made yet. Is that legal??

Again. I feel Tacomaworld should step in so another vender doesn’t use TW to wrong a bunch of enthusiasts. Because having someone wait 6+ for a bumper of Fxxing ridiculous.

What about orders placed on 1000 other forums?

    It isn’t a forums responsibility.

I always saw pelfry as an over rated unoriginal company. especially after browsing hundreds of builds and thousands of posts over the years on TTE and TW FB of nothing but Pelfry this....Pelfry that, pelfry this etc. Dont get me wrong though, im not gonna vocally harass and bash someone over getting a pelfry bumper, its their money....its just my opinion on the matter.

after seeing so many trucks with the same bumper, its just a big grey blob of everything looking the same without any variety. hence why ive never bought anything from them at all, and got my bumper custom built from SOS Concepts back in 2014 the way i wanted it with my stinger to stick out from the blob of pelfey trucks

I have a dog in this fight.

Early last year I purchased and installed my 2nd gen front bumper. It's a good bumper. No disputing that I think.

What is making me sick to my stomach is I personally vouched for Pelfreybilt to people looking for suggestions on armor on a bunch of occasions online and in person. If only one person took my suggestion and is now screwed over by this...

This is really straight up not funny and really fucked up.

I have some Pelfreybilt gear that is absolutely going into the trash.

I'm so sorry to anyone who I may have mentioned them to...

Honestly I didn't like when they started selling all kinds of other products. Seemed too mainstream for me. Zero pelfrey stuff on my 4runner.

No it’s over a year old, and my bank told me I’m SOL. They said it nicer than that, but that was the gist.

As someone lurking from the 5th gen 4runner page could anyone kindly link me to the filing? I would like to check for my name as I'm out for 2 5th gen rears.

You didn’t recommend them to me, I did my research and thought they were legit. That said no reason to throw away your armor that you spent your hard earned money on.

I don't know much about bankruptcy but I'm relatively sure the outcome is not determined over a holiday weekend.

    http://www.totalbankruptcy.com/chapter-7/basics/process-timeline.aspx

    Notable quotes:

"Also, within the 180 days before your bankruptcy filing, you must receive an individual or group briefing from an approved nonprofit budget and credit counseling agency."

"If you incurred new credit of $500 or more for "luxury goods or services" within the 90-day period before your bankruptcy, or if you obtain a cash advance in the amount of $750 within 70-day period before your bankruptcy, the debt is presumed to be non-dischargeable."
