You either need to buy a Scan tool to access your car's software or you can take it to the dealership and have them reprogram the number of flashes on you turn signal.

Has anyone figured out which way this works? You can't adjust the setting while moving so it's difficult to trial and error it.

Never mind, found another thread that indicated that setting 5 is most sensitive, in that lights will turn on sooner all things being equal.

I have a 2018 Sport with tech package only & I have Auto lights. I don't use it tho. Lights stay on longer than I want all the time & brights never seem to dim when they should

Auto headlights seems like something everyone should have done by now, almost all GM cars/trucks since the mid to late 90's have it stock. I've always wondered what was taking all the other brands so long and 20yrs later it's still not standard.

The $21,000 Dodge Dart SXT I traded for the taco had auto headlights but my $31,000 truck doesn’t? Seriously, that’s so lame ...

But is it as lame as owning a Dodge Dart?

Actually, that Dart was a pretty cool car. Handled like no other vehicle I’d ever been in. It also had much better premium interior than our Tacoma’s.

With that said, I’d rather have herpes than drive anything other than my Tacoma. But for the price we pay, they could have added auto headlights.

I couldn't agree more, it's also good to have them on cloudy days. Better than (DLR's) daytime running lights, as they also put your taillights on for you.

We've all seen people driving without their taillights on at night!!! :boink:

Does the automatic headlight setting affect the radio as well? Just going under a bridge in my new 2019 toggles the radio into night mode for like 2 seconds and then back to normal day mode. Driving me crazy and thinking about it, it seems like that is probably linked to the auto headlights.

Thank you! I've noticed this on and off and I always catch it out of the corner of my eye when it happens. First few times I thought I was having a stroke or something. Since then I just assumed I've slowly started going crazy.

Rest assured, you are slowly going Crazy. It'll be that or the stroke that kills ya (if not the wife)...
