Well, I tried downloading the latest update, was never able to do it, I called Actron and they said I needed to disable security software ect.
So I did, tried again and the Actron "Suite" actually saw the scanner and got the serial number but did not know what scanner I had, so
it would not download. Guess maybe I will try again, but this time not let him get off the phone until I get it downloaded.
On a 1995 the listed pids in the FSM is a total 36, I would be happy just to get them. But I dont hold out to much hope. I think my
Actron scanners usb port is not working correctly. Wonder if I could just send it to them to install software.

Question, I see 1995.5 and 1995, whats the difference. Mine has a build date
of Jan 1995, I have OBD2 and OBD1

 

My "Toyota Enhancement" was a "for fee" upgrade as opposed to an update. Many of the available pids on the scanner are simply not present on my 99 truck like manifold pressure or brake light "on-off". I have many of them turned off such as AC and PS idle up status just to keep the clutter down.
At least you have USB, this fellow is serial cable.

But Im thinking my US port is inop, when I call Actron, Im going to keep him on the line as Im trying to
update, He told me Im like 10 upgrades behind. Well I have owned it for 10 years and have never updated.
I will ask about the Toyota Enhancement option also. They are pretty nice on the phone.
